Thursday night's edition of TNA iMPACT! scored a 1.2 cable rating, rounded up from 1.18, with 1,559,000 viewers.

Thursday night's edition of WWE superstars scored a 1.0 cable rating, rounded up from 0.97, with 1,052,000 viewers.

As Raw confirmed tonight Jack Brisco has passed away. He had a triple bypass surgery a few weeks ago and was in a rehab center recovering when he passed. We here at The Eagles Ring would like to send our condolences to his family and friends.  

Witnesses told cops Hardy was in a taxi with Jericho, Helms and several others Wednesday morning -- when Helms allegedly struck three people ... including one female.

Witnesses say Hardy took off on foot -- just like Helms allegedly did -- when the cab driver pulled over at a Kentucky gas station and called 911.

We're told Helms came back to the scene and was arrested -- but Hardy was gone for good. Cops are not pursuing any sort of action against Hardy.

According to a source, WWE stars Chris Jericho and Gregory Helms were arrested Wednesday morning in Kenton County, KY around 5 a.m. They were arrested by the Erlanger (KY) Police Department. Both men were charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place.

According to the source, they were both bonded out in about an hour. Kenton County is close to Cincinnati, OH. That is where WWE SmackDown! was taped last night.

Due to technical difficulties on my end the Radio show was canceled this week. Tune in next week.

Last night's episode of TNA iMPACT! drew a 1.26 cable rating (1.3), the same number as last week. The show drew 1.9 million viewers overall.

TNA Knockout Alissa Flash is leaving TNA Wrestling. She asked for her release and it was granted. Rumor has it that others besides her and Kong asked for their release but no confirmation yet.

Earlier this month a 15-year-old WWE fan accused Randy Ortonof assault after Orton allegedly spit gum in his face and swore at him outside a restaurant in Boston, Mass. The fan claims he asked Orton for a picture and Orton got hostile and "assaulted" him.

Orton posted a message on his website explaining his side of the story:

"Here's what happened: I walked out of Kowloon's Friday night around 12:30-1 a.m. with Santino and a police officer escort. As I was being rudely hounded for pictures and autos (I had a 6:40 a.m. flight through Minni to Lincoln, then a drive to Omaha a match, a drive back to Omaha, then a charter to Minni, and a driver to Rochester for the next show the next day, btw), I was confronted by an older women who said: 'Hey Randy, you spit on my handicapped son a few years ago at a show, what do you have to say about that?' My replay...`So Sue me.'

Then I proceeded to my car, with Santino and the cop and drove back to our hotel by the Boston airport. I know I have been a bit of a hothead in the past, but I DID NOT spit gum and call names to any child. The women is claiming I called her son a `retard' 3 times, and spit gum in his face. Come on people, even at my worst temperament, I would never call a handicapped child something awful like that. I'll actually sign anything for any child with any disability.

I heard just today from WWE attorneys that this women filed assault charges against me 4 days later? Hmmm, oh, and what about the dozens of cops at the restaurant that were there for crowd control since there were over 100 wrestling fans there? Not to mention the cop that escorted me to my freaking car. I'll be happy when this is over. I guess if I've learned anything from this, it is not to ever challenge anyone to sue me."

According to The Saugus Advertiser, a witness has come forward in the alleged Randy Orton fan attack case. According to the article, Wakefield resident Stephen Addonizio was sitting in a car with his sister in the Kowloon parking lot at the time that the alleged assault took place. Addonizio says that Orton was walking to his car when "about a dozen kids rushed him and asked for pictures". Orton reportedly denied requests for autographs, and one of the juveniles yelled profanities Orton turned to respond when other wrestlers pulled him back and towards their car. "He just kept walking past them and got into his car," Addonizio said, adding that he never saw Orton come into contact with anyone.

Robert Zimmerman, vice-president of public relations and corporate communications for WWE, stated that the WWE is aware of the situation, and that they were looking into it.

Rumor has it that Drew McIntyre dislocated his knee during a match. He appears to be injured but the severity of the injury is unknown at this time. More on this as it comes available. 

WickedLocal.com is reporting that Randy Orton is facing a court hearing after he allegedly spit gum into the face of a juvenile and swore at him outside of Kowloon Restaurant in Saugus, MA.

The victim alleged that Orton reacted to him angrily in the parking lot of the restaurant. He said that he took a picture of Orton in the parking lot and then asked to pose with him for another when Orton lost his temper and spit his gum at him and called him a derogatory name. The victim's mother than confronted Orton, who allegedly responded “so sue me”.

There was apparently another juvenile male in the parking lot who witnessed the incident.

Police filed a hearing request on the matter for simple assault and battery. A clerk magistrate will determine if the incident warrants a criminal complaint.

I can now confirm that TNA will be taping the next few shows and will not go head to head with Raw. More on when they will move to Monday's as it comes available. 

Brooke Hogan accidentally let it slip on Bubba The Love Sponge Show that TNA might be going live this Monday night. This would mean another Bret Hart vs Hogan segment. More on this as it develops. 

Jeff Hardy had a verbal agreement to return to WWE.Vince McMahon is said to be upset over this. 

Jeff Hardy has been in fact indicted by a grand jury on all counts. This means it will go to trial. 

Early ratings are in. TNA did a 1.5 and Raw did a 3.37. Raw ratings is not good considering they brought in Bret Hart.

I just got word and found out that Jeff Hardy is backstage at Impact and is scheduled to debut tonight. More on this if any word comes in before the show airs.

Bubba the Love Sponge announced this evening on his Twitter account that he's joining TNA as the "new backstage guy" for iMPACT!.

He wrote: "watch spiketv(Monday)8pm est 4hulks return 2wrestling I'm the new backstage guy think I'm on a total of 4x Please tell everybody u know."

It can be assumed that he will be handling backstage interviews during iMPACT! broadcasts from this point forward.

I waited to post this til I could confirm it but sadly I have confirmed that Dr Death Steve Williams has lost his battle with cancer and passed away this morning. The Eagles Ring family would like to send our condolences to Steve Williams family and friends.
