The Eagle's Thoughts:

Not a bad PPV at all. I thought most of the matches were good. The match of the night is CM Punk VS Jeff Hardy. Watching Hardy kick out of the GTS was amazing. Plus NO ONE expected him to win it with him possibly leaving. The only problem I had with this PPV was the order of the matches. I mean have the Diva Title masc AFTER the WWE Championship is crazy. But hey thats only one complaint.

I missed most of this match due to technical difficulties but Abyss left Dr. Stevie laying in a pool of his own blood and got the win.

Before the match starts Teddy Long comes out and announces it will be a triple threat tag team match. Then Edge and Jericho come out and they will be the third team. 

After a match that the Colons and Legacy tried to keep Jericho and Edge out of the match.... Edge was able to pull off a pin for the win.

 A short match with The Miz getting the advantage for a little bit of time but Cena pulled off the victory with a STF.

Triple H VS Randy Orton for the WWE Title 

Triple H gets himself DQed to lose the first fall. 

Then he pedigrees Orton on the outside to get the second fall. 

So its tied 1-1.

After some interference by Legacy Randy Orton is able to sneak out a victory.

After the match HHH goes after Orton with the sledge hammer to end the PPV. 

The Eagle's Thoughts

Not a bad PPV. Could have been better. I still cant believe Jericho and Edge are not tag team champs.  And I thought for sure HHH was gonna win the WWE Title. Over all not a bad PPV. 

The X Division Title match is up first.

A decent match. Morgan dominated most of the match but Sting nailed a Scorpion Death Drop from the top rope to put the Blue Print away.

After a crazy match and  a good one Kurt Angle becomes the new TNA Worlds Champ with a twist. Samoa Joe hands Angle the title and joins The Main Event Mafia.

The Eagles Thoughts: Most of the matches were pretty decent. I certainly didnt see the Samoa Joe twist coming. Not a bad PPV overall. 

 Kofi Kingston VS MVP VS William Regal VS Matt Hardy

After a great match with lots of action Kofi Kingston was able to pin William Regal to retain his US Title.

I am experiencing technical diffculities so I missed hte Chris Jericho VS Rey Mysterio match but I do have the winner.

CM Punk VS Umaga 

After a grueling match which was actually decent Punk beat the odds and won the match. He hit the GTS and hit the 4th corner.

After a long hard and decent match Tommy Dreamers career continues as he becomes the NEWWWW ECW Champion.

When they came out Vickie made it a handicap match with her and Chavo VS Santina. Chavo started out the match and then tagged in Vickie. Chavo accidently threw slop on Vickie. It ended with Santina getting a pin on Vickie after taking Chavo out.

After a very fast match Batista was able to pull off the win with a Batista Bomb.

The Big Show VS John Cena 

After a long fought battle mainly dominated by Big Show.. John Cena tied Show's foot around the rope and nailed the STF.

Jeff Hardy VS Edge is next 

Jeff Hardy Vs Edge for the Worlds Title 

Best match of the night by far. They really used the ladders. There were so many of them. It looked  like they sent out medical staff after one stunt. Hardy looked like he dislocated his knee cap on one spot but seemed to be able to put weight on it after a while. Hardy pulled Edge thru a ladder.. yes you would have to see it to feel the impact of it to win the title. 

Winner and New Worlds Champion: Jeff Hardy

Folks it wasnt over yet. CM Punk comes down and cashes in his Money In The Bank and battles Hardy.  He ends up winning it after 2 GTS's.

A great match. Amazing Red barely pulls off the victory.

After a great match with alot of action Eric Young and Lethal Consquences were able to pull off the victory.  The ref interfered and kicked Bashirs hand off the rope.

Daffney VS Taylor Wilde in a Monster Ball is next

Taylor Wilde is able to get the victory after a hard fought battle.

After the match Daffney attacks Taylor Wilde. Dr. Stevie interferes and helps.  He makes Abyss grab Wilde and tells him to choke slam her onto the tacs. But Lauren runs down and stops him. Stevie gets in his face and Abyss slams him through the tacs. 

Christopher Daniels VS Suicide is next

A great, fast pace match. It went back and forth. Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin interfered costing Suicide the title. 

Winner: Daniels 

After the match  Daniels get on the mic and says he doesnt want to win the match this way. He asked for 5more minutes and the ref grants it. 

So we continue. 

Daniels VS Suicide.. again for 5 minutes 

After a hard fought, back and forth match neither man is able to get the pin so Suicide retains his title. 

Winner: Suicide

Awesome Kong VS Angelina Love is next

Awesome Kong VS Angelina Love For TNA Knockout Title 

Kong just explodes on Love ... taken it outside. But Love is able to push her into the post to take control. Love calls for the count out but it doesnt work. She then takes Kong out in the ring and tries to leave but it stopped by Kongs manager. Kong goes for the victory but Love moves out of the way.  She then grabs the hairspray she uses and gets Kong in the face for the win. 

Winner : Angelina Love

After the match Kong snaps and lays out Love. 

Kevin Nash VS Samoa Joe is next

Kevin Nash VS Samoa Joe

Nash takes over this match til it goes outside. Joe cracks Nash open. A back and forth match.  Samoa Joe was able to nail a submission and Nash taps out.

Winner: Samoa Joe

After the match Joe unleashes on Nash and all the refs and security come to the ring to break it up. 

British Invasion VS Beer Money Inc is next

British Invasion VS Beer Money Inc.

Team 3D is at ringside for this match. This match pretty much goes back and forth. The British Invasion tried to use the briefcase again but Beer Money turns it around and uses it on them for the win. 

Winner: Beer Money Inc. 

After the match Team 3D raises Beer Money's hands. 

Booker T VS AJ Styles is next

Booker T VS AJ Styles in a I Quit Match

AJ takes over at the beginning of the match with a few submission. Then Booker T takes over with a shot to the throat. Sharmel comes down during the match and distracts Booker. Then Jenna comes down and throws in the towel costing Booker the match. 

Winner: AJ Styles 

The main event with Mick Foley, Sting, Kurt Angle and Jeff Jarrett is next

After a crazy match that had Mick taken a break at the announce table Sting is able to pull of the victory pinning Kurt Angle. 

Winner... New God Father of MEM .... Sting

 CM Punk VS Umaga is first

Umaga VS CM Punk

Umaga dominated most of this match. Punk tried several times to get Umaga up for the GTS but to no avail. Finally after some offense by Punk Umaga nails the Samoa Spike to get the win. I was suprised this ending. Punk needed this win. 

Winner: Umaga

The ECW Title match is next

Christian VS Jack Swaggar

What a match. Both these men are gifted. I was even impressed by Swaggar. Christian grabbed Swaggar tights to get the win and retain his title. 

Winner: Christian

Shelton Benjamin VS John Morrison is next.

John Morrison VS Shelton Benjamin

Shelton dominated this match from the beginning. Morrison did hit a moonsault from the top rope on Benjamin but he was able to recover. I was impressed with both these men in this match. Of course Shelton brought Charlie Haas to the ring. Haas interfered towards the end but Morrson was able to knock him off the apron and got the win. 

Winner: John Morrison

After the match The Miz comes out. He then congratulates Morrison on his win and says this isnt the first time he has out performed Morrison.  He runs his mouth some and then calls out one of the Chicago Cubs players. He then gets a phone call in the ring. He says its the Chicago Cubs owner and he cannot get into the ring. He then takes shots at him again. He then says he is 4-0. But then Santino Marella comes out. Santino then says Alfonso is a fellow Italian. Miz then says its his time and wants to knwo what he wants. Santino takes a shot at Kozlov. He then says Miz is a jackass. The Miz then hits Santino. Chavo runs to the ring and takes out Santino. 

Rey Mysterio VS Chris Jericho is next.

This match went back and forth at the beginning. Then Jericho got the advantage. Jericho tries to remove Rey's mask at one point during the match. Jericho has the upper hand most of this match. Rey goes for the 619 twice but Jericho gets out both times. The last time Jericho was able to land the Walls of Jericho. Rey gets out of it. Rey knock Jericho into the corner and then nails the 619 for the win. 

Winner: Rey Mysterio

Randy Orton VS Batista is next. 

Randy Orton VS Batista

Batista takes over the match at first but then Orton gets the advantage. Batista gets the advantage and he actually looks good. This is not a bad match. Orton kept on trying to get himself counted out but Batista would chase him. During one point Orton slaps the ref and the ref calls for the bell. Then the rest of Legacy comes running in. They attack Batista. Then all the sudden you hear.... WOOOOOOO and Ric Flair comes running to the ring. They both clean house and hug afterwards. Orton does retain the title cause of the DQ. 

Winner: Batista by DQ

John Cena VS The Big Show is next.

The Big Show VS John Cena

The Big Show dominates from the beginning. Cena is still playing off like he is hurt. Cena makes a come back and takes the Big Show down.  Cena went for the STF but Show got out of it and then takes over the match again. Cena goes for the STF 3 times but cannot get it locked on. Show takes him out and goes for the knock out punch but misses. Cena lands the Attitude Adjustment for the win. 

Winner: John Cena

Edge VS Jeff Hardy for the Worlds Title is next. 

Edge VS Jeff Hardy

Hardy gets the advantage at the beginning but then Edge takes over. Its a back and forth match. So far one of the matches of the night. Matt Hardy comes out of the crowd and nails Jeff with his cast. Jeff recovers and tries to get on the top rope but Edge gets there first and suplex Jeff for the win. 

Winner: Edge

The Eagles Thoughts

Not a bad PPV. Fairly predictable except for Punk losing and Jericho losing. The matches of the night were Morrison VS Benjamin, Jericho VS Mysterio and Edge VS Hardy.

We open up BackLash with the ECW Title match between Christian and Jack Swagger.

In a decent match dominated by Jack Swagger.... Christian is able to pull of a victory with some quick thinking and endurance. 

Winner-- New ECW Champion.... Christian

After the match Edge and Christian have a confrontation backstage. Edge says Christian thinks he is better than him cause he now has a title. But it will be a matter time he says. Christian asked what the problem is and EDge responds by saying that its John Cena. He says that tonight he will get rid of him forever. 

 Next match coming up is Ricky Steamboat VS Chris Jericho

Despite a great performance by Steamboat, Jericho was able to get the win by submission with the Walls of Jericho.

There is a backstage confrontation between Beth Phoenix and Santino Marella.  Beth asked why he is doing this. Santina still keeps up the lie and tells Beth to go kiss the Great Khali. She says no and she wont be kissing him either. 

The next match up is Kane VS CM Punk

CM Punk VS Kane

Despite a great effort Kane got the victory over Punk. The Eagle doesn't agree with this at all. Punk is the MITB winner and deserves a push.

Next match up is Jeff Hardy VS Matt Hardy

A great match as to be expected. After tying Matt to a table Matt said he quit to end the match. But Jeff jumped off the ladder and nailed him anyways.

 Up next is the Khali Kiss Cam

Santina says she cant kiss Khali cause she is in love with Jim Ross. Khali says she doesn't have to kiss him if she proves her love by kissing Jim Ross. Then Beth Pheonix comes out and challenges Santina to her Miss WrestleMania Crown in a match. Beth runs her mouth to Khali and calls him an idiot. He in turns chops her and Santina pins Beth. Santina tries to leave but Khsli grabs her pulling off her bra top. Santina covers herself and runs to the back. 

Up next is the WWE Title match between Team HHH and Legacy

Team HHH VS Legacy for the WWE Title

Randy Orton leaves right after the match gets started and goes backstage. Later he would come back at a great time to get involved in the match. Right away you see the teamwork of Legacy working well. In the match they eliminated Shane thru most of it. In the end Randy Ortons kick to the head of the Game ended it all. HHH was taken out on a stretcher due to the injury. 

Winner-- New WWE Champion Randy Orton

Next is the match for the World's Title

John Cena VS Edge for the Worlds Title 

After a great match ... and many 9 counts Edge pulls off the victory with some help from the Big Show. Folks in case you missed it .... The Big Show came out and choked slammed Cena thru the large lights at ring side.

Real quick I want to say that it was a decent PPV. Not the best but not the worst either. I was surprised to see Orton and Kane win their matches. I would say the match of the night was the Hardy match.
