The Eagle's Ring

 

ECW  May 19^th

We start off the night with Jack Swagger sitting in the ring saying he isn’t leaving til he has justice. Two refs come down and try to talk to him. Swagger says Tiffany can come out and tell him herself cause he ain’t moving. Then she comes out. She tells him to get out of the ring. He says Christian cheated and never beat him. She says they will discuss this in her office. He says he don’t have to listen to her. She says if he don’t go to her office she will see to it that he never gets a ECW Title shot again. He the leaves and heads backstage. She then apologizes and says they will have a great night. She then introduces Christian.  As they pass each other Jack pushes off Christian on the floor.

Christian VS Paul Burchill

Christian is still nursing his leg after being pushed by Swagger. They take it outside where Burchill gets the advantage. Burchill sends it back into the ring and continues to work over Christian’s leg. Christian gets the upper hand after a mistake from Burchill. Then Burchill takes over. Christian nails his finisher for the win. Not a bad match.

Winner: Christian

After the match they interviewed Christian in the ring. He says that Tommy Dreamer issued a challenge but that Swagger interfered in that. He then goes on to challenge Tommy Dreamer for the ECW Title.

We come back to Tiffany and Jack Swagger in her office. She gives him the night off.

Zack Ryder VS Adam Green

Zack Ryder basically dominated this match. I tell ya Ryder looks ridiculous in his new look. He does pull of a quick victory.

Winner: Zack Ryder

Vladmir Kozlov comes out and speaks. He says he is the greatest force in ECW. He says there will be no retreat just victory for him.

We go backstage to Hurricane Helms outside the General Managers office. He says the match between Christian and Tommy Dreamer has been signed for WWE Superstars this week. He then interviews Dreamer who says Christian is a great champion but that he will defeat him for the ECW Title.

Finley VS David Hart Smith

Smith looks to be in great shape. Of course Tyson Kid comes to the ring with Smith. Finley takes control of this match early. Then Smith takes over by slamming Finley on the outside using his fathers old finishing slam. Smith continues to dominate the match with submission move after submission move. Finley then comes back and lays out Smith. He knocks Smith to the outside. Tyson Kid tries to interfere but Finley takes him out. When he gets back into the ring Smith uses Natalia show to knock Finley out and get the win.

Winner: David Hart Smith

The Eagles Thoughts

Not a bad ECW. The match of the night was Christian VS Burchill. I think that the Finley/ Smith match was ok but  could have been better.
